The McCaugheys made a decision that they would try their best to keep their children away from the press and the public eye.

To chronicle the progress of their children, they struck a deal with Gamma Press in 2001 so that they could take a photograph of the children once a year on their birthdays. It was a smart deal as the family can look back on the images and cherish those fantastic days.
